It's Been Awhile

Been busy being a mom and moving and life changing and all that stuff. Things are good. Living in tahoe, smelling smoke - not knowing its from Big Sur or my big back yard.... its odd that you can't tell. I keep hearing large trucks and ofcourse in my mind they are all firetrucks. I am having Ally Mcbeal flash forwards of me packing up the kid and the animal and then not having a car to go anywhere... how outdated was that reference? I could have just said Lost flash forwards but I went with the McBeal... I guess its the state of being I have been in lately. Living in Tahoe, working at STHS, coaching cheerleading. If I didn't know any better, I would rolling a keg up to Jenny Hayward's house and my transformation back to 1995 is complete!

Two Months and totally cool

Hi Everyone! Well two months down. Other than the lack of sleep, things are going great. Sophie is getting very big and is starting to make lots of noises. She is always moving her mouth around and looks like she wants to talk to us. I can't wait to hear what she has to say. Probably something along the lines of "you two are not as funny as you think you are."

Hey, I am One Month Old

Hey there!! Sophie Bell is one whole month old today. She is doing well and is healthy and growing like a weed. I can't wait for all of you to meet her!

Our Sweet Girl

Our sweet little Bell had her two week doctor appt yesterday. She has gone from 8 lbs 5 oz & 19 & 1/2 inches long to 9 lbs 8 oz & 20 & 3/4 inches long. She is our big growing girl. The doctor said she was perfect. I tend to agree.

We are doing well. Dylan went back to work this week and my mom went back over the weekend. Its just the kid and me now...

So far today we made daddy dinner and we napped, and we walked the dogs twice. I am such a domestic goddess! (ha ha)
